    1. Is there a way to stop an automatic loan payment if I don't have funds in my account to cover it?

We are not able to stop a single payment, but we can cancel the entire automatic payment service at your request. You can re-establish automatic payments when you are ready.

Requests should be received at least 5 business days prior to the payment due date.

      For mortgage loans:
Requests to cancel automatic payments can be submitted within Online and Mobile Banking using Mortgage Manager. They can also be submitted by completing our Mortgage Loan Auto Pay form and either returning it to a banking center or mailing it to PO Box 3728, Evansville, IN 47736.

      For all other personal loans:
Requests to cancel automatic payments can be submitted by completing our Consumer Loan Auto Pay form and either returning it to a banking center or mailing it to PO Box 3728, Evansville, IN 47736.

Please note that late payment fees may apply if we do not receive your loan payment by the due date.

If you have questions or need assistance, please call Client Care at 1-800-731-2265.

    2. Can I use ATMs that are not Old National or Allpoint ATMs?

Yes. Your Old National ATM/debit card will work at all ATMs. However, doing so may result in several fees.

      Surcharge fees
Out of network ATMs (ones that are neither Old National nor Allpoint) may assess you a surcharge fee. An ATM surcharge fee is the fee an owner of an ATM charges cardholders from other financial institutions who use their machine. In other words, if you have an Old National debit card and use it at another bank's ATM, that bank may assess a surcharge.

      Foreign fees
For most types of checking accounts, Old National will charge a $3.00 "foreign" ATM fee (on top of any ATM owner surcharge) if you use a non-Old National Bank or non-Allpoint ATM.

To ensure fee-free ATM usage, we recommend always using an Old National or Allpoint ATM when possible. To find an Old National or Allpoint ATM, go to our website locator at oldnational.com/locations. Select the "ATM" and "Allpoint Surcharge-Free ATM" filters. You can also use the locator within our Mobile App to find both Old National and Allpoint ATMs.

    3. How can I find the phone number for a certain Old National branch?

There are several ways to find the direct phone number for an Old National banking center by using our website locator or our Mobile App:

      On the website
Visit oldnational.com/locations to go to our Branch & ATM locator page. Enter the following information into the Search box.

      • To find a specific location, including phone number, enter the address (as much as you know), city and state of the location you are searching for. Select Search.
      • A listing of locations will be provided, and each location will include the direct phone number.

      In the Mobile App

      • Open the App on your device. You do not have to log in. At the bottom of the Login screen, select Locations. You can use the Search at the top of the screen to find a branch or ATM by address, zip code or city.
      • If you are already logged in to the Mobile App, go to More at the bottom right of the screen and then Locations under Contact Us.
      • Tap the map pin for the location you are searching for. Then tap the white box that appears to see the location phone number.

Results of Location searches will be more accurate if you have enabled your mobile device to show your current location.

    4. When will the check I deposited through Mobile Deposit be available?

Checks deposited using Mobile Deposit are available for withdrawal based upon our typical funds availability policy. If we receive your mobile deposit by our Mobile Deposit cut-off time of 8pm CST, Monday through Friday (excluding holidays), we consider that business day to be the day of your deposit. Otherwise, we will consider that the deposit was made on the next business day we are open.

Checks written from an Old National account:
If you submit a check written from an Old National account through Mobile Deposit by the 8pm cut-off time, Monday through Friday (excluding holidays), the deposit will be available the same day. In other words, it will be credited to your account and available to cover checks or other debits being processed that night.

Checks written from an account at a bank other than Old National:
If made by the 8pm CST Mobile Deposit cut-off time, Monday through Friday (excluding holidays), these deposits will typically be available the next business day. This means these funds will not be available to cover checks or other debits processed that night. In some cases, an extended hold may need to be placed on a mobile deposit, meaning funds will not be available the next business day.

      Viewing your mobile deposit
You should be able to view your mobile deposit in your Digital Banking transaction history within one to two business days of your deposit.

If you have questions about your Mobile Deposit, please call Client Care at 1-800-731-2265, or take the check into an Old National banking center.

      ATM Deposits
As an alternative to Mobile Deposit, many of our ATMs also accept deposits. When viewing our Branch and ATM locator and select the ATM filter.

    5. How do I improve my credit score?

Regular, timely payments on your bills are the best way to improve your credit score. These payments won’t necessarily immediately give you a boost—the credit scoring agencies want to see that you can consistently make regular payments over several years. Over the long run, however, on-time, in-full payments are the most reliable way to achieve a higher credit score.

You may see a faster boost to your credit score by reducing your credit utilization ratio. This means the amount of money you owe, compared to the amount you’re allowed to borrow. For example, if your credit card limit is $2,000 and you regularly spend nearly that amount per billing cycle, your credit score will likely be lower than if you have a credit limit of $20,000 and you regularly spend nearly $2,000 per billing cycle. In each case, you’re spending the same amount, but in the second example you’re using less of your available credit—that’s something credit scoring agencies like to see.

In cases like this, a simple step like requesting an increased line of credit on your credit card (but not spending more), or like regularly paying half your credit card bill in the middle of the billing cycle, could boost your score relatively quickly.

Other things that impact your credit score: how long you’ve had credit (the longer the better, particularly if you’ve had most of your accounts a long time), how many recent credit inquiries you’ve had on your account (the fewer, the better) and the total amount you still owe (the lower the better).

    6. Does Old National offer foreign currency exchange services?

Yes. We buy and sell select foreign currencies at any of our banking centers. This service is available only to Old National clients.

For next-day service, you can visit any of our banking center locations. Orders are debited from your checking, savings or money market account. In addition, when you return from your trip, you can exchange leftover paper currency at any Old National branch.

For more information, visit our foreign currency page.

    7. What is direct deposit?

Direct deposit is when you have a regular payment, such as a paycheck or a social security payment, deposited directly into your bank account rather than receiving a physical check.

There are several benefits to direct deposit: it’s more secure than a physical check, since it can’t be lost or stolen; it arrives in your account more quickly than a physical check would arrive via mail; and, you don’t have to spend time depositing your physical check.

If you’re interested in setting up direct deposit to an Old National account, we have direct deposit instructions.

    8. To submit a notice of error or request for information about my loan, do I have to write a letter, or can I instead call Old National or visit a banking center?

We are happy to continue to service your account through email, phone and our banking centers. However, we encourage you to submit any notices of error or requests for information in writing to:

      Old National Bank
      Attn: Client Success
      P.O. Box 143
      Evansville, IN 47701

Written communication ensures that you receive all the protections under the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA).
